Jason Ahee, MD

Jason A. Ahee, M.D. - Anterior Segment Cataract/Refractive Surgeon
Dr. Ahee is originally from Michigan. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Hillsdale College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He went on to Wayne State University School of Medicine where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree and graduated with Distinction in Biomedical Research. The following year, Dr. Ahee finished his internship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and then went on to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit where he completed his specialty training in ophthalmology and earned recognition as the Most Outstanding Senior Resident. He joined the Dixie Ophthalmic Specialists & Laser Eye Center in 2003 and purchased the practice in 2006. He has been a member of the Clinical Faculty at the University of Utah’s Moran Eye Center since 2004, and holds the appointment of Adjunct Assistant Professor. Dr. Ahee is also the Chairperson of the Continuing Medical Education Committee at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the Utah Ophthalmological Society.

Jason Ahee, MD

William R. Barlow, Jr., M.D. - General Ophthalmology Cataract/Refractive Surgeon
Dr. Barlow was born and raised in Bountiful, Utah.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Utah.  During his senior year he served as the University of Utah Pre-medical Honor Society President.  He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and received his doctor of medicine degree.  He returned to the University of Utah to complete his internship in Internal Medicine and his specialty training in Ophthalmology.  He served as Chief Resident at the University of Utah during his final year of specialty training.  He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the Utah Ophthalmological Society.

Jeff Ricks, OD
Jeff R. Ricks, O.D. - Optometrist
Dr. Ricks is a native of Salt Lake City, UT. He graduated from Brigham Young University and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry, where he graduated with highest honors. After serving for three years at the U.S. Air Force Academy Hospital in Colorado Springs, he joined the Dixie Ophthalmic Specialists & Laser Eye Center in 1990. Dr. Ricks is member of the American Optometric Association and is actively involved in Utah Optometric Association.
Jason Hauck, OD
Jason W. Hauck, O.D. - Optometrist
Dr. Hauck attended Dixie State College and Southern Utah University before receiving his Bachelors of Science at Pacific University. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry where he graduated with clinical honors. Upon graduating in 1992 he returned to St. George, and joined the Dixie Ophthalmic Specialists & Laser Eye Center. Dr. Hauck is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Utah Optometric Association.

Roy Goodart, MD

Roy A. Goodart, M.D. - Vitreoretinal Surgeon
Dr. Goodart was born in Arkansas. He received a Bachelor degree from Hendrix College and then a Masters degree from Memphis State University. He went on to the University of Arkansas Medical Center where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his specialty training in ophthalmology at the University of Utah Medical Center and his subspecialty training in vitreo-retinal disease and surgery at the University of Miami Bascom-Palmer Eye Institute. Dr Goodart has published extensively in ophthalmic journals and has participated as an investigator in many landmark clinical trials. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Utah Medical Center. Dr. Goodart is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and maintains active membership in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Vitreous Society, the American Medical Association, and the Utah Ophthalmological Society.
N Branson Call, MD

N. Branson Call, M.D. - Oculoplastic Surgeon
Dr. Call was born in San Francisco. He graduated with honors from Harvard University and went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree from Duke University, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He finished his internship while still at Duke University and then completed his specialty training in ophthalmology at UCLA Jules-Stein Eye Institute. Dr. Call also completed two subspecialty fellowships: one in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at UCLA and the other in orbital and lacrimal surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. He has traveled throughout the world giving lectures and serving medical missions in underserved areas, and has published numerous articles in ophthalmic journals. He is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Utah Medical Center. Dr. Call is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Utah Ophthalmological Society.

Roy Goodart, MD

David Faber , M.D. - Vitreoretinal Surgeon and Ocular Oncology
Doctor Faber specializes in medical and surgical treatment of the retina and vitreous.  He received his B.S. degree at Brigham Young University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and his M.D. from the University of California, San Diego.  Following completion of a medical internship in Arizona, he did his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Diego.  Doctor Faber completed a combined fellowship at the Charles Retina Institute in Memphis, Tennessee specializing in Vitreo-Retinal surgery and in Ocular Oncology at the University of Tennessee.

Doctor Faber has extensive training in the evaluation and treatment of ocular tumors and pediatric retinal surgery.  He has also been involved in various research projects including the study of diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration and has published several articles in medial and scientific journals.  Doctor Faber is actively involved in ongoing research trials.

Doctor Faber is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Society of Retinal Specialists, and a member of both the Utah Medical Association and the Utah Ophthalmology Society. Doctor Faber is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He is licensed to practice medicine in Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada and Montana.
